โจ About the Project
For over 25 years, Women in Cognitive Science (WiCS+) and its regional chapters, WiCS+Europe and WiCSCanada+, have brought researchers together through conferences, mentoring initiatives, networking events, workshops, and professional development activities.
But what happens beyond these events?
This research project aims to explore the global WiCS+ network, understand the professional relationships it has fostered, and document its impact on the cognitive science community.
๐ What Are We Investigating?
Professional Connections
Relationships and collaborations fostered through WiCS+.
Mentorship
Mentoring experiences and professional support within the network.
Career Development
The influence of WiCS+ participation on career trajectories and opportunities.
Global Community
How WiCS+ has connected researchers across regions and over time.
๐ Participate in Our Study
Whether you attended one event or have been involved for years, your experience matters.
We invite anyone who has ever participated in a WiCS+ event or activity to complete an online survey about their involvement and the professional connections they have made through the network.
